He is currently Chairman of Hillingdon Mind and a member of the Brunel University audit committee and has undertaken a wide range of voluntary roles in charities and public sector bodies locally.

Retired from a 40 year professional career in youth work incorporating a range of positions including work with young people with physical and learning disabilities. An international athlete in the 1960s holding the British record for 10,000 metres from 1963 to 1965. Ten years as the Chair of the London Wheelchair Marathon.
Has strong sporting links south of the Borough, as Club Captain and Colts Secretary at Hayes Cricket Club and also as Secretary of the Hayes and Yeading United FC Supporters’ Club. Keith is a cricket coach, working at a number of schools in Hillingdon.
