The Big Lottery The Big Lottery Fund is starting to launch a range of new funding programmes and full details are available on the web site.
Sport England - London has launched a new community investment fund and aims to support projects that will make a real difference to the life of Londoners.
Arts Council England The Arts Council England is responsible for distributing Lottery and Government funding to arts projects in England. Programmes are available for individuals, organisations and national touring.
Heritage Lottery Fund The Heritage Lottery Fund distributes money riaised by the National Lottery to support all aspects of heritage in the UK, from historic buildings and museums to archives, nature conservation and oral history. Both capital grants (buildings and equipment) and time-limited activity grants are available.
City Bridge Trust The Trust has decided to concentrate its giving in five broad areas:
- Access for disabled people
- London's environment
- Children and young people
- Older people in the community
- Strengthening the voluntary and community sector
Grants are available for both capital and running costs and applications are accepted throughout the year.
The City Parochial Foundation The Foundation funds work that helps poor Londoners by reducing or overcoming discrimination, isolation and violence.
Trust For London The Trust targets small locally based voluntary organisations with charitable purposes that benefit people and communities in London. 'Small' is defined as being entirely volunteer or membership based, or with no more than the equivalent of two full paid staff. www.capitalcf.org.uk - an independent charitable foundation supporting good causes in London. Capital Community Foundation provide funding and support to fronttline charities, community projects and social enterprises.
