Now that Hillingdon Community Trust has been in existence for almost five years, we are keen to evaluate its progress and achievements and to make recommendations to ensure that the Trust is working as effectively as possible for the benefit of the community in the southern six wards of Hillingdon. We have commissioned consultants to carry out this evaluation and they will be producing their report to the Board in May. As part of their work they will be contacting all the organisations who have applied to the Trust for funding since 2003.
The evaluation will aim to:
• Review the Trust’s grant-making policies and strategies
• Gain an impartial assessment of the extent to which the Trust has strengthened the voluntary and community sector in its area
• Consider views on how the Trust should aim to improve its performance
• Gain an insight into the way the Trust is viewed by stakeholders in its area
• Consider how the Trust might engage business locally in the funding or joint resourcing of projects
We are very grateful to everyone who has worked with our consultants to provide information for the email questionnaire or to meet the consultants.
