1st Harmondsworth Scouts
This local scout group received a grant of £1,630 to buy a large mess tent and two gazebos. Their old tent was worn out and let in the rain. The new one was put in use at summer camp in 2007 and then at winter camp in early 2008. The new tent enables everyone to fit into the tent to eat at the same time without getting wet or running the risk of the tent collapsing!
The new gazebo is used to give shelter at camps.
