West London Floating Classroom receives funding from Hillingdon Community Trust
 Children from Hillingdon Community Trust’s area will benefit from lessons aboard the West London Floating Classroom as a result of £78,000 in funding from Hillingdon Community Trust. The Floating Classroom is aimed primarily at school parties as a mobile satellite classroom.
The boat is equipped with the latest IT and interactive teaching equipment, providing an inventive medium to complement many aspects of the school curriculum including history, science and citizenship. It will also enable students to interact with and study the diverse waterway environments thus providing them with the opportunity to learn about conservation issues and stewardship. |
