Crown Centre for the Deaf
Crown Centre is based in Yiewsley. It had been suffering from vandalism to its building which was a great concern to its users and management committee. A grant of £5,852 enabled the Centre to have security fencing installed to keep vandals out and give a greater sense of security to visitors.
A second grant of £7,500 enabled the Centre to buy new carpets, chairs and a dishwasher.
Both these grants have improved the Centre for users from all sections of the local community.
