Hillingdon Community Trust makes grants for community projects such as the environment, public amenities, education and training, crime prevention and recreational facilities within the London Borough of Hillingdon. These can be one-off grants of as little as £100 to awards of hundreds of thousands of pounds for large projects.
Our main funding comes from a gift of £1 million a year for 15 years from BAA (Heathrow Airport Ltd) to benefit the community in the southern part of the Borough - Hayes (the wards of Botwell, Townfield and Pinkwell), West Drayton, Yiewsley and the Heathrow Villages. The map shows the Trust area.
Hillingdon Community Trust was established in 2003 and is a registered charity. At the end of our fifth year of operation, we have approved grants of around £4.8 million and so made a unique contribution to supporting the community in our area.
